Pecan Creek's Standing Ovation

"Stanley" was the last stallion Jane Cozart bred.  He stood 14 hands and was a dark liver chestnut with roaning. He had a beautiful head, elegant movement and a kind, gentle and quiet temperament.  He came to Windstar in the fall of 2007 and was been a delightful presence on the farm until he was killed while crossing the street by a speeding, texting driver in September 2016.  Stanley's main job in life was to make beautiful babies and he did that well, even winning the Get of Sire class at the 2010 Central Nationals in Tulsa.

As a young stallion at Jane's.

Stanley at play shortly after arriving at Windstar Farm (winter 2008)

As you can see, he balanced up very nicely and put his hind end under him effortlessly!
